Tushar Shah comes back to Multi Screen Media as senior vice-president  (View Comments)

Tushar Shah has joined Multi Screen Media as senior vice-president. This is his second stint with the company. Earlier, during 2002-05, Shah headed the marketing function at Max, the group's cricket and movies channel, as vice-president, marketing.

In his current role, Shah will handle the Bengali channel, Sony AATH, which MSM had acquired in early 2009. In fact, Shah has been consulting for the channel for the last few months. However, now he has come on board formally. Shah will be given additional responsibilities but the details on the same are still awaited.


Shah has 19 years of experience spanning sales, marketing and communication functions, mostly in the media and telecom industries. Before working as a consultant at Multi Screen Media, Shah was executive director, telecom operations at Mobile2win, where he handled the entire PNL and also participated in the creation of products and services for Mobile2win. In addition, he was involved in marketing, brand management, PR and research at the organisation.


Earlier, Shah was director, marketing and communications, Walt Disney India and is considered one of the key people who helped set up Walt Disney in India. He also worked as a senior marketing manager at Hutchison Telecom.


Shah has also spent a considerable period with telecom companies such as Modi Telstra, Agrani and Hutch.
